2021 was another year where Covid protocols kept us from going on trips. But we did have many drive-through and delivered lunches. Keiro no Hi was another drive-through event. Many thanks to all the volunteers that have kept PNS active with our membership. Here are photos from our 2021 Online recognition of our 88-year "youngs"
In Japanese culture, reaching the age of 88 is considered a milestone that deserves a special celebration. The 88th birthday is referred to as Beiju and is known as the long life celebration. To honor those reaching this auspicious age, the PNS always recognizes its members turning 88-years old. This year we delivered a potted plant to each of our honorees with their obento delivery.
